Goat Yoga Lesson Flow at Rocky Mountain Goat Yoga
Welcoming and Introduction:
Each Goat Yoga session begins with a warm welcome and a brief introduction to the day’s activities. Our instructors share insights into the benefits of yoga with goats and outline what to expect during the session. This introduction sets the tone for a transformative experience, highlighting the therapeutic potential of our goats beyond their playful interactions.
One-Hour Yoga Practice:
The heart of our Goat Yoga lies in the one-hour practice, designed for all skill levels. Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or new to yoga, our sessions provide a unique opportunity to enhance your practice with the added joy and engagement of goats roaming and interacting around you. This practice focuses on mindfulness, relaxation, and the simple pleasure of being in the moment, all enhanced by the gentle presence of our friendly goats.
Goat Playtime and Photo Opportunity:
After the yoga session, you’ll have 20-30 minutes to bond further with our goats during a dedicated playtime and photo opportunity period. This is your chance to cuddle, snap selfies, and play with the goats, making unforgettable memories. This time allows for personal interactions with each goat, deepening the connection and enhancing the therapeutic benefits discussed in our mission.
Closing and Reflection:
We conclude each session with a moment of reflection, encouraging participants to share their experiences and any insights gained during their time with the goats. This closing circle helps solidify the shift in perception towards seeing goats not just as farm animals, but as facilitators of wellness and joy.
